Phew! Back home for a week or two between trips to sunny downtown Kangerhmlussuaq. You think you have mosquitoes? Even up here in NY we don't hold a candle to the pterodactyls they have:
its like being on the wrong side of a buffett. They hover outside the windows and doors waiting for you--and given their dietary options, they're willing to wait. Its a nightmarish mash up of Hitchcock and mother nature. Yegh. Frightening.
Got home just in time to watch my boy's first swim lesson man, that is a big boy! I guess if you name someone after an Irish giant, you should have certain expectations.
anyhow, happy 4th to us Americans, happy Canada day to my neighbors up north and (its been a while) happy summer to the rest of the world!
Slaint!
