Ok so the wedding went well. It all was nice. Let me give you the run down.
Wednesday: I woke up at 3:45 too insane to sleep throughout the night. Went to the airport and was checked in bright and early. My plane to Atlanta was early and I got to new orleans for 10 am. Gen and Lyric came to get me and I spent some time with my mom. That night I went to the rehearsal for the big day. I meet the best man, he was really nice, and had dinner with the inlaws and misty's family. Texas roadhouse grill... The girls there were stupid. First, we were told if all 9 people weren't there, we wouldn't be seated, then we were told they were waiting for the big table and it took about 4 of them to say, oh we can sit you in nearby tables. The service was slow and the food went cold before the A1 was delievered...But it's ok.
Thursday: Up at 6:30 am CST. Why? I don't know. I was up until 12 ish the night before, so almost 20 hours give or take. WHy? WHY WHY? Oh well, Misty came to get me at 10 and we went shopping for her bacherlor/bachelorette party on a Party Bus! Took a 20 minute nap before someone started hammering and Misty came to get me at 5ish. We got to her place and the electricity went off because of the weather. Poor thing, people started to arrive to party and drink before the bus. Everyone except three tried to make lemonade. It was quite comical considering we got dressed and put make up on in the dark by candle light. The three friends of the groom sat in their car until the bus came. When we got to Bourbon street, they left us to go directly to Pat O'Briens. We started from one bar and kept walking. Totally had fun at the clubs, dancing, not too much drinking because we had some from the home and in the bus.... The groom, was too drunk and started to stumble and puke. So we had to walk back to the bus after about 2 hours. We had the bus for about 4. We get to the bus and go to eat at the Trolley Stop. About 10 minutes in, the three asses call. I advised them that we will not come to get them for about 1-1 1/2 hours... We were on St.Charles and they should have fun on Bourbon. Three calls later, and I was still calmly explaining that we weren't to get them and that they left us....Calm, but witty and still a bit bitchy. They caught a cab to us and well, I got my way not to mention Misty didn't have to talk to them. They caused a lot of trouble, Megan was the girl. She started the mess with the bacherlor party to begin with.. None of his friends chipped in $10 for the bus tip, and it cost Misty about $900 to rent the bus. Too kind.
Friday: Spent all day with Mom, Gen, and lyric, thank goodness..Megan caused nothing but trouble, she said I yelled at her, which I didn't. But Mark, the best man, set things straight with Ryan, groom. It was a lot of mess on Thursday night... A lot more that can never be explained in type. Mid day, she takes the guys out for lunch to tell them she has cancer, what kind? Still don't know. Why didn't she say beforehand considering it she knew for awhile... I'm sad she is sick but she's a glory hog. The rehearsal dinner was good and I spent the night at Misty's.
Saturday: Up at 7.... Ran the roads all day, hair, makeup, gathering of the boys.... Until 5, wedding time. It was a wonderful wedding... Beautiful and I avoided the bouqet during the toss.
Sunday: Up at 6, after sleeping for 3 hours. My plane was delayed to Atl... and I had to change the connecting flight. Atl was late in leaving and the assholes complained because we waited for 25 people who were late. We saved 25 people from sleeping in the plane, not getting a flight for a LONG time but that wasn't enough for the impatient jerks. Meanwhile, the 10 hours in 5 days of sleep has caught up with me. My throat is mucus-y and I am not even wanting to eat right now. I didn't get in until 2 and I am not at work now.
I had fun... Real fun. I'm tired and now have an appointment to the doctors on Wednesday for what I think is tonsilitis....hopefully not.
OH and yes Pictures from the wedding
There are a lot more. But really, I wasn't uploading them all.
