I had the best dinner last night....
Fondue and fliet mignon! oh man....the dessert was pretty good, but the cheese stuff was the best:
1 lb of plain ol grated swiss cheese, mixed with 3 tablespoons of flour...then you rub the pot with lots of fresh garlic cloves
set the thing to 200 degrees, add 3/4 c milk and when it simmers, throw in the cheese stuff and stir till it all melts evenly....
then add 3/4 c white wine (I used cheapo white zinfandel cooking wine that comes in these little bottles), pepper, paprika, and nutmeg
yields three cups....more than enough for my brother and I, and what we didn't eat, I had for breakfast
we used some kinda herbed bread to dip in it, but any sort of french bread would do....
