I'm moving across the country to BC in 49 days and I'm starting to freak out. There is SO MUCH to do. I've been making lists and settings reminders of what to do before the move (I even downloaded some moving apps to help me with what I would have never thought of) but it's still so overwhelming. I'm really excited and the opportunity is great but the summertime in Montreal makes it hard to want to leave.
I was hoping some of you would have some tips or would like to share some experiences you've had with long distance moves... Thank you.

We moved from Florida to California last year. My advice is get rid of as much stuff as possible and, if you're driving across the country, take your time and enjoy as many sights and cities as you can. Make it a vacation, not a mission. Best of luck!!
