So, I just got a reality check from a friend who is six years my junior. He said time is running out for me to realize what I want to do with my life. He has already accomplished more than me in his time. Now i need to get my ass in gear. I have way too many plans but not enough goals. He got me to see what i had feared was true, that if i continue doing what I've been doing, i will end up a middle aged pawn at some boring, crappy job, working for a company who only sees me as a number. Well, that's not going to happen. Because now i have a goal. And that is to finish this blog and go to bed. Wait, that wasn't it. Actually, my first goal is to graduate from this training course. Then i will volunteer for a deployment overseas. Because its now or never. And there's one other thing I've been putting off. Lets hope im not too late to win her over though. Wish me luck.
