So since I have been back I went straight into a 10 show week, followed by a 2 city week. I am so exhausted. I hit my head pretty hard yesterday during load in, almost knocked myself out. I still have a headache, and Jessica snitched about it to managment so they were concerned. But there is not alot they can do since I am the only one that canot leave a load in. I wish it was because I am so awsome byt really its because nobody else can do the lighting focus.

Speaking of managment I have been hoodwinked into getting my CDL. I took the exam and pee test because I was told that I needed it to drive the merchindise truck into Canada. But Tim, our manager, told me that he really wanted me to get my license before 1) he leaves or 2) his wife comes on tour. So next week I will spend my time off taking the written test to get my learners permit and start riding with him and getting some time behind the wheel of a big rig. The biggest thing I have driven so far is a 28' foot truck.

So the issues I mentioned in my last post have to do with our crew chief and head wardrobe. Being the only veteran on tour besides our crew chief the crew has been coming to me because basically she is a psycho bitch. Plus she has been sexually harrassing Jessica including grabbing her boobs. I finally convinced her to go to Tim and report it. Turns out managment is sick of her shit too and she is on the way out. She has the rope tied the noose and its around her neck. They are basically waiting for her to jump and now with the stuff going on with Jessica things may change.

The head wardrobe has been popping pills at work and been to the point where she was foaming at the mouth and falling out of her chair. I dont care what you do on your own time but leave that stuff at the hotel not at work and around small children. So she is on her way out too I hope, and Tim's wife Judy may be coming in.

Other issues is my sound guy who is a complete idiot and couldnt mix a Betty Crocker cake let alone a sound board.

My assistant electricain left the tour to be the head electrician on Rent. the reason he left is because of the shit with our crew chief. One of our dancers also got fired and they hired somebody from the trial tour last spring to come in. Only thing is she just got married and wanted her husband to come too. He has no experience in theater at all let alone lighting but guess who got placed with him. The only good thing is that he is pretty smart and catches on qucik. I have no problem mentoring somebody, but I dont want to waste my time if they are not interested in doing lighting as is the case here.

Holy crap that was a long one sorry to vent like this.
