Have you ever had a phone conversation and had the person you were talking to text you right after you hung up to tell you that you have a hot voice? It just happened to me, and I'm not sure I believe her, but then again she's not the first person to tell me that I have a nice voice on the phone. The police dispatcher and the detectives I've talked to over the phone have told me that I have a good voice for radio and dispatching, but I just can't hear it.
I'd be interested in pursuing a career in radio, but there's a few fundamental problems with that, first and foremost being that I have a tendency to screw up words when I'm reading aloud from printed materials. I've always had this problem, and it's one of the reasons why I failed English in middle school (had to give a speech which counted heavily towards my final grade for the year). Do any of you have this problem? Have any of you had success in overcoming this? I'd love to hear from ya...
Now IDK how anyone would ever think this...but I've been asked twice this week if I was originally from the southeastern united states. I've never been south of kentucky, and I was only there for 2 months, and I don't think I picked up any accent from there whatsoever (side note here, Kentucky had some of the best food I've ever tasted). I think part of that may be due to my phone manners, IE when interfacing via telephone with someone other than my friends/aquintances I have a tendency to use yes ma'am/no ma'am and yes sir/no sir which apparently is not common for New Englanders.
Anyways...I'm rambling again which I have a habit of doing so I'm gonna end this blog entry for now before I bore everyone to death...
Have a happy/drunk/stoned/whatever weekend everyone!!

I've got two, a 2007 Suckerpunch Sally bobber and a 1975 Honda CB750K. Starting the rebuild on the Honda, slow 'cause of the weather.
