I finally got done work at a reasonable time today so I decided to stop at FDR to take a couple of runs in the skatepark. What I found was a bunch of the skaters working on the park. The GravityGames are going to hold the park compitition there so they are paying the skaters to fix it and footing the bill for the material. I haven't been skating there for a while. After alot of years skating there the appeal of the park (skater built, underground, hardcore, world famous,etc.) wore off and all that was left was drinking, drugs, rocks, cracks, dirt, and tourists. Now that there are new elements to skate and it will be a little cleaned up I'm kind of excited about it again. Here is one of the pics I took.
