Yep, it is now official. I am sick.

went to the doctors today to get some antibiotics to help get this wretched cold out of my system and got more than I bargained for, a letter for work saying that I am sick. Now, the time off work is not that bad, it is the fact that I won't have a pay check next week that I am not looking forward to.

I am hoping I get over this thing sooner rather than later and considering what was said during the check up, the herbal tablets were providing some benefit as the doctor recommended that I keep taking them.

Oh yeah, I got my first welcome message (thanks Bow! even though I have already said it in my reply) and friend request ( I must admit it was bit of a surprise considering I have only been on SG for just under a week). It will be interesting to see if I get more on my travels around this site.

now, for the sake of the random, I was playing Portal yesterday just to finish the game again (I had to re-install the game due problems with steam) and in one of the areas (the infamous "Friendship Cube" puzzle) I noticed some of the scribble in the hidden area and on impulse wrote it down for future amusement.

"Not in cruelty.
Not in Wrath,
The Reaper came today;
An Angel visited this gray path,
And took the cube away"

I don't know what motivated me to write it down, but, the statement was amusing at the time.
