I hear ya. I've always looked up to the U.S., and in the past, even when issues were divisive, there was a sense that there were well-intentioned people on both sides of the political spectrum. Not anymore... I fear the Republican party has, with a few honorable exceptions, no qualms supporting a man whose conduct is a travesty of the high office he holds, and no qualms being in cahoots with people who want to upend the political and constitutional order. But as they say, this, too shall pass.Â
