Its late, or shall I say early (0:53) and I cant sleep, a hard on woke me up, so here I am in front of iMac listening to the classics (Hydan Symphony No. 38 in C Major at present) and read through AnnaLees old BLOG entires. She makes me smile, so sweet is her constance, so gentle and thoughtful her words, so colorful and relaxing are her photos of herself and nature. She could be my muse for at this moment, this slice of time, I want to write poetry in long flowing stanzas in honor of her...
I honor of thee AnnaLee, I scribe this simple poem, entitled Red Rose, White
Red rose, white rose,
Together on the vine.
Red rose, white rose,
Growing together side-by-side.
Stems intertwined,
Sharing over time.
Petal touching petal.
Velvet softness against skin.
Where does one leave off,
And the other begin?
Red against white,
What a beautiful sight;
Mothers creation blooming in her sight.
Friends forever down the road of life,
Helping each other grow,
Helping each other fight;
The pains of the world,
The sorrows,
The never-ending plights.
Red rose, white rose,
Together in a vase.
Red rose, white rose,
O see how you shine.
Red rose, white rose,
One of a kind...
