I really need to start doing more with my photography. It's pretty silly that I spend so much time takeing images yet I never market myself, never really try to get commisioned work, and make very little effort to sell my prints.
I think what I would really like is to publish a book. Like a big coffee table size book. I suppose that's a long way away but still, its a good thought

i know exactly what you mean...i have boxes of prints that i've developed, but i've never been able to get myself to take my portfolio around to galleries, coffee shops, and what-not...i guess i'm still thinking about what to frame them in la vida... well, regardless, i'm making the 35mm to digital switch...since my 35mm was stolen and all...what else is there to do... :s anyway, hello by the way...i like your photos ... so there!

I think its more important to keep taking the pictures, and keep loving it. What would you rather have at the end of your life -- a pile of coffee table books, or a pile of days lived doing something that you loved and made you happy? (Obviously one can have both.. and lots do.. the bastards! ) That reminds me -- have you seen Helmut Newton's Sumo in person? Coffee table books don't get any more impressive than that! xoxox
