Well, for reasons complicated and familial, I'm off to Carolina for a week. Or so. I'm in the awkward position of just barely getting along with my family, as long as there are several states and a handful of accents between us, but prolonged exposure tends to bring out the bad. That said, they're good people, and being good back to them is the least I can do. So. Gonna be a long week.

I finished the drafting of my book, and have started the final read throughs. It's going very well, which surprises the hell out of me. Only two characters changed names, and the main character changed age. Other than that, everything is holding together. This is one of the first times that I've worked on a single project for this long and still liked it at the end. Encouraging. This readthrough I should be able to finish at my parents house, and then we'll go from there. I see letters going to agents by the start of summer, no sweat. Woo!
