So you know those mondays when you get up, and think "Fucking Monday - why are you here so early?", then continue to curse under you breath hoping that you got the day wrong and its really Sunday?
Well - thats how my day started. BUT - it got better real quick. Simply make a phone call to work - explain to them that I can't come in, and switch my shift for a different day - and voila - long weekend!!! No calling in sick - no faking a doctors appointment - or a made up long lost uncles death. I work for a huge corporation, so they really don't give a shit - as long as at the end of the week, I put in my 37.5 hours.
OK - yep its true - work sucks, and I am lazy lazy man.
Great weekend though. Got some work done on my half sleeve - pics to come - I love my tattoo artist, she is amazing. Its gonna be a bit though before finished. Already had 3 sits (mind you only 3 hours a peice) - and 2, maybe 3 more to go.
Took the kids to the Santa Claus Parade. Abso-fuckin-lutley gorgeous night for it. Last year it was a snow storm and couldn't go it was such bad weather. This year I went in a t-shirt - no shit - seriously a t-shirt. Funny drama after the parade. Everyone leaving in droves - probably 5000 people in the area all leaving at once. Some people are walking down the middle of the street which is closed off to the public, but now open again so that people who parked there could leave. Anyway some hillbilly redneck family walking down the middle of the street - intentionally in front of this minivan - blocking them from getting past. Meanwhile - sidewalks are open - and the other side of the road is still closed and no cars. This crazy chick (kinda looked like the bus driver from South Park) is with her kids yelling and swearing this guy in the van - "Kids, walk right in front of this stupid fucking cock-sucker" goind on and on with shit like that coming out her mouth. I mean, what a stupid trash redneck. There with my kids (as was almost everyone) and this crazy bitch is yelling and swearing up a storm and encouraging her kids to do it too!!! Glad to see my tax dollars at work. errr I guess not at work....
What else..hmmmm - I put my Xmas lights up. Yep - I know, way way way too early. But the weather was pratically begging me to do it. It was about 12 C out yesterday - in a week or two, I wouldn't be suprised if it were -10 out. And I would rather have lights up early, then wait till it freezing to do it. It was a long job too. almost 4 hours.
I will leave you with this. Funny as hell - I watch this over and over and over and over.....
Last thing - I have raised just about $250 with the 'stache so far.
