Hey all, what's up?
ahhhhh quite a lot going on, you know me, Mr busy.
I had my vacation a week ago, I worked on my house. Got a fair amount done, but it never seems enough. My favorite toy right now is a powerwasher! ahhhhhh I love it so. My deck looked like dark gray and green mold crap, my fence to the left looked like rotted ass. but under them both WAS WOOD! HOLY SHIT! they look damn good now. I have more washing to do, and then sealing can occur, but they look great! a good step forward!.
I also am power washing my house to get all the loose paint off so I can hopefully, if money allows, paint it b4 winter sets in. I picked out the color scheme for the house already, I can't wait. it's hardish to describe so you'll have to wait. Interesting footnote. on the back of the house the idiots b4 me started putting up this crappy "Shaker" siding on, then got broke and started pulling it off and burning it for heat. so what was left was half put up crap. I took it down and theyscrewed up some of the wood siding doing their "Install". In the world of today's shopping market, if the masses don't use something, MOST stores don't carry it anymore. finding wood siding wasn't easy, but I did find it. double *whew*
Now for a story of crown molding......
I stained it all, it went up beautifully.... but I was one piece short. My local store didn't have my style. (Slight panic sets in) But that's ok, I'll just go back to the store that I bought the rest at... cool... oops... They did a remerch and now don't carry that style anymore. (Insert full panic here) So the $250 worth of crown molding might be all crap if I don't find one 4 ft section because I was too cheap (read broke) to buy the right number of pieces. DAMMIT!
the next day I found it in Dayton. *whew*
I chopped some limbs down on the tree out front. that was interesting. "How to not kill cars driving by, parked cars, houses, or your roommate and your self in 25,000 easy steps." got most I wanted down, not all. that's in the next class. UGH! Funny part is a landlord from a house down the street asked if Clyde and I did this for a living and they could hire us. I laughed in her face. was that rude?
It's very interesting moving everything you own out of your two largest rooms (living room and dining room) to be able to paint and do the floors. makes you lose a game of tetris to your couch, the casualty being a wall or two. it also puts said couch in your kitchen. makes entertaining interesting. (read: nill)
Well I started back at the second job so I can pay down the credit cards, and HOPEFULLY, b4 it gets too cold, get new windows, and fix the roof on the back of the house too. I would LOVE to put a new door on the back of the house, but I don't think that is reality with everything else...... Oh welll.
wow long ass update for me, now I gotta get the hell out to work, later!
Question:
Do you still talk to any of your friends from high school, and tell me the story of "man this one time we were doing *Blank* and almost died or went to jail" story......

Where did you find the wood siding?
I'm glad you found the molding, that would have sucked if it was not where to be found.
What did she say when you laughed in her face?
There is a couple I still talk to, funny thing is I didn't talk to the said friends for a long time and then all of a sudden we started talking again.
I will try to think of a story and come back and tell it to you.
