Well just sent my introduction letter to the company in Holland. Went like this:
Hello,
Well I have been talking to one of your employees, Madelyn Webb and she has informed me that you may have a position that I would be able to fulfill. I have recently separated from the U.S. Army and was a 15F Aircraft Electrician. I am familiar with both the electrical systems and avionics systems on the Armys rotary winged aircraft. Primarily the UH-60 Blackhawk but Ive been trained on the Chinook and Cobra with minor experience on the Kiowa. I was in that MOS for 3 and a half years and fulfilled a deployment to Iraq from Nov 03 to Dec 04. Most of my experience is on the Blackhawk as my unit was from Fort Drum, NY but I am proficient with all technical manuals and feel that once youve been trained on one system, other systems are easy to work on. I was honorably discharged on 23 MAR 05 and have since been working for an electronics company working with fixed position bar code scanners, CCD cameras and RFID equipment. I have found that my job was much more fulfilling working on aircraft and desire to get back to that field.
If you are at all interested please let me know. I have all applicable paperwork to include school certifications and my DD-214 paperwork to verify my experience. I also have NCOER paperwork if you would like to validate my on the job proficiency as a leader and aircraft electrician. Thank you for your time and I am looking forward to hearing from you.
Sincerely,
Jason Shaw
