A person's duty to society is nothing more than a person's duty to themself. A person's duty to themself all depends upon how broadly they define "Self."
A person with concern for (his/her)self acts much differently than a person with concern for The Self.
This is because the first type of person is percieving (him/her)self to the limit of the physical body, its resources, and its acquisitions.
The second type of person sees themselves as a member of a Universal whole. Thus, it would never raise the left hand against the right hand. The second type of person would rightly assess this as self-defeating.
Take heed.
Any policy that is not good for one of us, is not good for all of us. Any policy based in anything less than Oneness is a policy based in Illusion, and as such will possess a finite lifespan.
