so i'm back again. i've had two weeks i'd rather not repeat with intermittent bouts of insomnia and allergies. i've also had some crazy, vivid dreams. if you get to the end of this update, you'll get the full deets on one of the more interesting ones.
if you live in the bay area (esp. around Stanford), i'm spinning on Stanford radio on Mon. April 25th from 3 pm - 6 pm. also, on April 30th i'm throwing a party a Club Six.
Dream #4-05:
i'm in a small town with two rockabilly girls, i think they are a couple, they keep taking me to different parties at these old turn-of-the-century houses that are sparsely populating this town. we get to a house which is where one of them lives. we're hanging out inside when an earthquake hits us. i run outside into a field. when i turn around a huge section of a tunnel has appeared next to the house.
as i go to investigate, i find out it's a cross-section to a new tunnel system that actually travels through space. i'm now in the future and on the system. i ask how much it costs, and i'm told it's free. the train system actually is suspended in the tunnel and i'm amazed at how advanced it is. i suddenly have an overview of the layout of the train system and i see that certain parts are breaking off and not stable.
i'm now with a friend outside the tunnel and he tells me that the specs aren't correct with the tunnel and that we need to figure out which ones aren't right. we hug each other and are suddenly transported back in time to the present. we remark to each how that just happened.
i'm now in a large club during the daytime and all my friends from new york are there and we're all happy to see one another. it seems like it is new year's eve or something, and they all tell me how excited they are to see me spin that night. i get a sudden rush of energetic joy running up my spine at the thought of playing that night. it's now the future.
i suddenly realize that i can move backward and forward through time in order to fix the problems with the tunnel and that i shouldn't worry about the tunnel falling apart because i i can move through time.
