what a crazy fucking week! i need to go to bed and get some sleep, tomorrow i go off to the desert to burn off all the crust i have been accumulating these past several months.
i just had Naiad shave my head. it was a beautiful experience. i'll post some pics when i get back.
there is no such thing as a positive or a negative experience. there is only the experience. the perception of it defined by the mind is only a label. as soon as something is labeled, it is limited.
we went to Amoeba Records and picked up some CD's for the roadtrip, here are my pics:
1/ the Verve -- A Storm in Heaven (i had lost my copy)
2/ Public Enemy -- It Takes a Nation of Millions To Hold Us Back (yeaaaaaah, booooyyyy!)
3/ the Cure -- Disintegration (never had it on CD, quite possibly my fav Cure)
adios, amigos!

you're thought about experience was good for me to read. I'm kinda not enjoying training very much right now at all. My nature is to always look at the bright side of things but the next couple of weeks is gonna be hard--it's some intense training, like a lot of stuff we'll need to know if we go to combat. We're on like 17 or 18 hour days, 6 days a week with very little real downtime, and its even more difficult knowing that this stuff is easy compared to what being in war is like. It's wierd how stuff that completely sucks while it's happening can ultimately be an extrememly valuable experience.
