what a long weekend! the party went off though without any hitches and was a success. all the dj's played extremely well and the crowd was very nice and diverse. a friend took some pics so i'll try and post them soon. i also made a couple of really good contacts, and i'm interested to see where they lead.
my ass is beat down now though. i'm getting too old to throw these kinds of parties forever, so it's back into the studio to see what happens.
i'm also trying to give up processed sugar (again), and i've given up on the energy drinks and soda and switched to tea (again). wish me luck.
recommendations:
film: The Lion in Winter (1968) (Peter O'Toole, Katherine Hepburn, Anthony Hopkins -- his 1st film) --- i would describe it as Dangerous Liasons meets Who's Afraid of Virginia Wolf? . . . it's that good.
music: the new Morrissey . . . enough said.

Lion in Winter was Hopkins 1st full-length film (he had done a few shorts before), haven't heard new Morrissey, but I think I'll be risque and buy it online today because I have heard nothing but rave reviews so far
