Well, I've been running around town with Meagan and Olivia yesterday morning trying to take of a few things before the two having an apartment of their own. Had to go to Huntsville Utilities twice because they didn't have two forms of identification with them, but it's taken care of now. After dropping Olivia off to puppy-sit and leaving Huntsville Utilties, Meagan and I had to the Weston Ranch (the apartment complex) to drop off some paperwork. Savannah greeted us and we went on a tour to have a look at the room since I haven't seen it yet. Here's where this takes a turn for the worse: I told by Meagan sometime last week that Savannah was pretty, but "pretty" was an understatement... I haven't been this sprung on someone I just met since middle school (that's a another story for another day.) She is a BEAUTIFUL woman of the Caucasian persuasion that's about my height, just the right size, and her eyes... oh, Lordy Lord, her eyes... you can get lost in those if you look at them long enough. Meagan kept nudging me as I drove with all of the hints I dropped of me and Savannah getting together, but she shares my thoughts. ;) Anyway, as we were riding in the cart, just chatting it up and whatnot, she just so happens to mention her boyfriend... Right when I heard that, my mind went, "NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!" I can live with that... It's okay... It's not the end of the world... once she showed us the room and took us back to the office building, we talked for a little bit longer, and then she drops the bomb: this was her last day working there. Me and Meagan were both disappointed by the fact that she would be gone, because she's pretty cool and we got along really well. As soon as we walked out of the door, I took off my hat in disappointment, and exclaimed, "This is the worst day ever! Don't you ever have hopes! They'll get destroyed; they'll get obliterated!" I wish I would've asked where she was going or if she could keep in contact with us... Maybe our paths will cross again someday.
The day got a little better when I came home and got my Fooly Cooly shirt from Teespring. I wasn't expecting to be here until next week, but I ain't mad at that. :P A few hours later, I picked Olivia and Katelyn up and we went out to Books-A-Million for a little while. Here's a little taste of our adventure:
Had a pretty enjoyable day, but the sadness of Savannah still weighs on my mind... it really shouldn't be this bad, but it is. I'm sure it'll get better with time. :P
