I got recognized from SG the other day. Went into a local salon and someone asked me if I was on SG. She's on here, but doesn't post or anything.
You know who you are!
Soooo I've got an officemate now. This makes slacking at work difficult..or at least more challenging.
He seems like a genuinely nice enough guy, but he's totally clueless. Which is really frustrating. I wish my boss would stop hiring morons.
The house passed the engineers inspection with flying colors. It was built in 1997, so I was confident that it'd be okay, but you never can be too sure.
Just waiting for the radon test results to come back on Saturday. Once that's done, the May closing is pretty much set.
Me and Dan are excited..but aside from his awesome family and a few friends, everyone else is kinda bitchy jealous.
A guy in my office said 'I think the idea of a 24 y/o single woman purchasing a house of that size is laughable.'
Sorry buddy, but if your wife had a job, you'd be able to afford twice the house you have. Instead, she stays at home and makes pottery or does whatever.
I'm just very thankful for all the supportive people out there who have said 'congratulations' rather than 'that's not fair, your house is bigger than mine.'
Oh and did I mention my house is 5 doors down from the chump who had a hand in having me laid off 3 years ago? He sold my boss on the fact that he could handle my workload. So I got the boot, and this chump proceeded to call me daily looking for help. I can't wait to say HOWDY NEIGHBOR. Assface. =)
In other news, apparently my current landlord has been dicking around with the utilities. All I know is I pay roughly $300/month directly to the local utility company.
No way I'm paying any more rent when I get a notice saying that the building will be shut off due to his negligence regarding his account. Glad I'm moving.
Been to the movies a bunch..saw Dawn of the Dead and Taking Lives. Dawn of the Dead nearly made me pee myself. I was scared of zombies for 3 days after that.
Best thing about Taking Lives is that you see Angelina Jolie topless. Don't get me wrong, it's nice, but not worth the remaining 1 hour and 40 minutes of lame-ness.
Started a new pilates class at a studio. I needed something different..the stinky old gym is kinda grossing me out lately. So once a week, 1 hour class and 1 hour on 'the reformer.'
It's hard to remember all the breathing and stuff, but its definitely 180 degrees different from the treadmill and circuit training.
I want to go watch the Red Bull Flugtag on August 14th in Cleveland. Summer road trip anyone?
Just trying to keep everything balanced..and everyone happy..including myself. Sunshine sure seems to help. Come ooooon summer!

congrats on getting a house. I don't know if I'll ever have one, but that is mostly because we're probably going to move to nyc after i finish school, and they don't really have normal houses there. Although If i move to new mexico, I'm buying a stupid big house, because the prices there are unbelievably cheap.
That's not fair, your house is bigger than mine!
It looks really nice - hope you enjoy it! Wish I had a house like that - I could have a kickass gaming room in something that size.
Not sure about all that green stuff though - looks too much like hard work!
