Argh. I typed a giant entry last night, only to hit 'save entry' and have the 'down for upgrade' screen flash at me. Grrr.
Friday's meeting went as expected, but due to the 3+ hours of firefighting, I'm going in to work this morning to tie up some loose ends for Monday.
Friday night was all that I had hoped for. Until I had to chase after the boyfriend in my pajamas at 3am because he stormed out after I got home and passed out on the couch.
After we went to a hockey game last night, the argument about Friday night was rekindled. Cliff notes version:
-I was very drunk and babbling random things, so he says, I don't remember.
-He stormed out because he was mad that I got that drunk.
-Says he should have called 911 to pump my stomach since 'that would have taught me a lesson'
-I say 'if you really thought I was in that bad shape, why the hell did you leave me?'
-He says 'you did that to yourself, if you died, oh well.'
WHAT!?
That's a nice thing to hear from the person who supposedly cares for you. He saw nothing wrong with that logic and continued to tell me that I was the one who should apologize.
I'm all for taking responsibility for acting like a moron. I had made it blatantly clear I planned on getting shitfaced. I didn't drive anywhere. Everyone had fair warning. But being told that he has no sympathy and he'd rather see me die than babysit me still leaves me with no words.
Am I mental? Does this make perfect sense to everyone but me?
