Today was bonkers with a capital B!
Crap all morning, meeting downtown at 11:30, got back to the office at 1, stuffed my face with PBJ, then zipped out at 1:30 to the winery. My boss came too. The hour car ride was less entertaining with him there because:
-I couldn't sing at the top of my lungs
-He wears enough cologne to make my car reek for weeks
Got back to the office around 4:45, checked emails, left, and went to the gym. Had a hair appointment at 7, so figured I'd kill some time and grab food.
I'm comfortable with eating by myself. But here I am at the local sub shop looking all sweaty and ratty and of the 5 people in the whole place, I have to know someone. Argh. We didn't speak, just kinda looked at eachother like 'i think i know you but i don't like you enough to say hi.'
Hair appointment took forever as usual. I fell asleep in the chair after she got my color on. Heehee.
Got home at 9, caught up with 'mah peeps,' took a shower, and here we are again. The best days of my life are whizzing by. Ah well.
I think I have seasonal affective disorder. When the sun is out I'm a whole different person. God I gotta get outta here. We have about 50 nice days a year. But this whole week has been bee-U-teeful so I've gotten spoiled.
Oh yes, and Once Upon a TIme In Mexico is out tomorrow. Rumor has it theres no nudity DAMMIT but I hope to see it just the same. And I'm crossing my fingers I don't gotta go alone. Dining alone is one thing. Movie viewing in a theater is quite another. No longer an act of necessity, but rather one of desperation.
