That's an EXACT description of an adult whooping cough symptom. It's making a comeback, you know. Adults usually get over it fine on their own, except for the whole problem of it taking months if you skip the medical intervention. And if you skip getting tested early, it can be missed on tests later.

luckily i was able to come home early... will have to see what we can do during the week.
I've been trying to ignore it, but I finally got sick and miserable enough to go to the doctor. The next day I was feeling a lot worse and went to Urgent Care last night. Apparently, I have pneumonia, which makes sense with as awful as I'm feeling. I'm going to lay back down now.
