Last week was a rough week. There were two days that my son decided to finger paint with his poop and smear it into the carpet. My son is 25 months old and almost 40lbs, his diaper fulls are awful. Another day, he got into his closet, found the butt paste and smeared that everywhere. He does these things during his nap time. Sometimes I hear him playing or complaining that he doesn't want to nap, but I just ignore him because, normally, he'll go to sleep as long as I leave him alone. Other than all that, his favorite thing to do last week was torture the cats, which drives me nuts. It seemed like he was doing whatever he could to make my life as difficult as could be last week. On the bright side, I'm more motivated to get my life in order enough to get a job.
As much as this child stresses me, there's nothing better. I was worn out Saturday from a kids birthday party. I fell asleep during a movie, so he decided to share my pillow and go to sleep too.

Yesterday, I changed spark plugs and wires on my car, with some help. I also put a plug in my tire, instead of having to buy a new tire. I'm awesome and getting better with this car stuff. A couple of months ago, I didn't know a thing about working on cars. I decided I had to learn about cars because I can't afford a repair shop. I've found that getting the bill from a car repair shop feels a lot like walking out of a prison shower, I would guess.
In other news, I had a relaxing evening of spiced rum last night. Today I get a break from staying at home. The week is starting off great, if I can afford it.

breezey:
I like working on cars, or at least being able to take care of the minor stuff myself. It gives me an awesome feeling of accomplishment.
