I have a fourteen year old who has suddenly become afraid of the dark again. Not much has changed in his life lately. He got out of school for summer, started watching a little more TV and playing video games again. I've been telling him he needs to start turning off his light when he goes to bed. My wife suggested getting him a night light, which I'm very much against. Tonight, I think I solved the problem. I told him that if he leaves his light on again, I'm taking his lightbulbs.
In other news, less than a month away before we have a baby. I'm switching to part time at work, so I can have more time at home. I'm finally getting our fourteen year old into summer camp. I've spent almost all of the money I saved for a motorcycle on things for the house, baby stuff and summer camp.
If I can finish this month with good results, things should be mostly good. I've been trying to be more of an optimist and relaxed like I used to be, more music and less worrying has been helping. Fortunately, none of my real concerns are medical, so things can't be that bad.
