I like both my jobs, but it seems my life has mostly just become me waiting to go back to work. I'm really just sitting here stairing at peanuts, thinking about how much money I make.
I got a raise a little while back. I just realized that later in the year minimum wage goes up and I'll have to get another raise then to atleast make minimum wage. I think it took me about two months of working there to get my first raise, with more responsibilities. I'm kind of taking on more responsibilities than planned. More recently, my manager has taken off the blocks on the computer, so now I have manager's access... I looked at it some and I don't know how to do anything, but I'll learn.
My other job, my boss says that he won't have to hire another "runner" with me working there, but he probably can't give me a raise because I'm already making the most they can pay me. I think I can talk him into it, if I explain that I mainly want the raise so I don't have to find a different job that I'll make more money at.
I have easy jobs that I enjoy. One is making smoothies and work included in running a smoothie place. The smoothes that I have every day are pretty healthy for me. The other is working concessions, stocking concessions, moving stuff around, and a little bit of catering, which can be good exercise, but eating the concessions food is very, very unhealthy.
I commit myself to both of my little crappy jobs and I work hard at both of my easy jobs. I will walk to work around 6:30, then walk back home a little after 1PM. I'll shower and shave, then get picked up for my second job around 3:30PM and work until after 9PM. I'll come home to spend a little time with my family, then to bed, so I can get picked up around 11AM the next morning. I'll be off around 5PM, then the same on Sunday. Monday, I'll be walking back to work at about 6:30AM.
I'm just tired.
