Update: I've been looking online at apartments in New Orleans I found some really nice looking places between $900 - $1000. I was excited, the I remembered how much of a pay cut we'll be getting and decided to start over. That's when I started finding places for $600 - $900 that are about 15-20 minutes away from where she'll be working... I'm excited. Of course, we have no idea what the neighborhoods are like, so I'm going to have to call around or maybe have my mom or brother check out some places.

We're leaving in a month. I'm pretty sure Urblueygrl has a job at a hospital in New Orleans. She'll be getting paid a lot less, but we'll be where we want to bed and it will rain there. I'll finally get a job. It will be the first time in about five years that I've had to work. My brother is also moving back to Louisiana. He moved to Alabama after Katrina. He was going to culinary school for a while up there, but things didn't work out and he had a woman problem, so he's going to be an assistant manager at a restaurant right outside of New Orleans... I don't know if it's a good thing or not, but I find it kind of interesting that we're both moving back at the same time.
Anywho... We're going to stay busy this month. Our calender is filling up with uncomfirmed plans, hopefully things work out and we get to see everyone before we go.
San Diego
Day 1: We were at a party the night before. We came home early, since we were planning on getting up early to leave for San Diego. We got home some time after midnight. I still woke up early. I had a few things to do before we left, but we still got to San Diego on our planned time. We got off the freeway early, for a restroom break, but we couldn't find a place to stop. Finally, we saw a Starbucks, we had a giftcard and we were craving a frappiccino. After Starbucks, we saw a sign for the zoo. We weren't planning on going so soon, but we figured that we didn't know how to get back to the freeway and we were already there, so we went. It is a great zoo. I'm so happy we went, but we were so exhausted after. So, we headed to our hotel and got settled in. Of course, settled in meant a trip to the store to get some hot chocolate and mint bailey's. We went out our patio, to the beach to drink our hot chocolate.
(The yellow caution tape was there because they had been painting)
Day 2 (Urblueygrl's birthday): Our hotel was great. It wasn't fancy and it was obviously old, but we were on the beach. There was a long pier very nearby. From the beach we could see dolphins and seals far away, but we walked out onto the pier and they were close. After walking on the beach in the morning, we headed north. We thought about going into San Diego, but we weren't sure what to do there. We knew there were a bunch of beaches to so, so we headed to the beaches. We were South of Coronado on Imperial Beach, so we started going north. We didn't stop driving until we got to Mission Beach. We bought us a few things for the beach and wandered around a little. It was still early and kind of cold, so we headed to another beach. I don't remember the places that we stopped, but as it got warmer, we found a beach to play at. It was my first time actually playing in the ocean. I've gotten my feet wet before, but the only time that I've been to the beach and it was warm enough to play in, I was healthy enough to play. We had a lot of fun, but it was cold and the sun was mostly hiding behind clouds. We decided to cut the playing short, so we could see more. We went up to La Jolla, there is a nude beach there that we were hoping to get to. We got close, but there was a steep hike and my wife has messed up knees and wasn't sure if she should try. So, we headed out and decided that it was about time to eat. We drove around in La Jolla and eventually spotted Goodtime Charlie's. It sounded like a good time, so we stooped. The place was great, the food was great, and the service was great. We were full after the meal, then they brought out a birthday dessert and we ate it all. We ate so much we felt sick. We headed back to our hotel. Opened up some wine and undressed.
Day 3: We woke up and wandered out onto the beach. I went back to the room, because it's cold on the beach in the morning. Urblueygrl wandered, looking at all the things that were washed up the night before. We wasted enough time and we had to hurry up and pack before check out time. We decided to drive up the coast. When we got hungry, we found a great place to stop and go out onto the beach. We sat and but sunblock on, then Urblueygrl made us some sandwiches. After food, Urblueygrl layed out to get some sun and I decided to play. It was still kind of cool out there, the sun kept on hiding behind clouds, so I decided to jog down the beach to warm up some. After jogging back, the cold water and the breeze didn't bother me anymore. Urblueygrl saw how much fun I was having and decided to join me, but quickly decided it was too cold for her. She said she enjoyed watching me play anyway. After some time there, we decided that we should get moving. We wanted to check out a nude beach that was a little farther north at San Onofre. We got there and there was a steep hike, but we managed to get to the beach and get naked. I went into the water a little, but mostly we layed out in the sun. It was so comfortable to be on the beach and in the ocean naked. It was our first time on a nude beach. There weren't a lot of people out there, probably because it was a weekday and it wasn't the warmest of days. We finally decided to go, because it seemed to be getting colder. Then we headed home.
We took a lot of pictures on our trip, but photoshop is messing up. We'll post some later.
Today: I'm going to eat, then head over to the fitness center... I guess that's as much as I have planned. Wait... I remember, I went shopping the other day for food. I found some recipes online using almonds, so I'm going to fix some almond crusted chicken, almond pinto garlic mash(substitue for mashed potatos) and maybe some broccoli with cheddar cheese. If I get to the store to get some lettuce, I'm going to make salads to go with it.
I've got plenty of other things to do that are important, I'm procrastinating.
