I'm going shopping today. I don't know if I really want to, but I'm going to get out to a few stores and look for good prices on a couple of things. Not gifts. I'm not doing that this year; or that's atleast what I'm going to tell myself and my wife, until she says "but just for the kids." Well, I am going to buy something for my brother, but it's not an Xmas gift. It's just something for him. Anyway, we need a new DVD player. I went from "I'm just going to buy a cheap DVD player" to "I might as well get a whole home theater system... and a TV. No! Not a TV, but I might just look to see what sales they have. No! Dammit." The arguement I had was actually longer than that; fortunately, it didn't get violent. It almost did when I started bringing up desktops.
I really thought I had something interesting for this journal. I just can't think of what it is.
This isn't it, but I need to recycle. I have a pile of recyclables in my living room. I might bug a couple of people to come help me rearrange my apartment. I just have to figure out what I want to do. Anybody want a microwave? It's a small cheap one that I got from Salvation Army a while back. You can have it for free and I'll drop it off, if I'm ever out that way, or you can come get it.
Alright, I'm going to do some of nothing now.
Update: After standing in line for about three hours, I got inside Circuit City. I was rushing because I had to pick my wife up from work. I got a new DVD player, home theater system, and 5 DVDs for under $300, which I think is a very good price for the stuff that I got. They had a bucnh of movies there for $4, if I hadn't been in a hurry, I would have bought a lot more, so it might be a good thing.

I tried to go to one store yesterday. It was insanity. I barely got out alive. I hope that you had better luck than I did!
