A few photos from opening night of The Force Awakens. Opening night always brings out the most excited and devoted fans. We had tickets to the 2am showing, 3D IMAX.
I put on my Han Solo costume, which is always fun!
We arrived at midnight and the line was already well established. Two games of Settlers of Catan were ongoing in the line. We brought Munchkin to play.
when we finally got into the theater, it was like we were all 12 again. It may have been 130am, but we were all high on an intense adrenaline rush. The anticipation was awesome. And the movie was amazing. So much nostalgia, more than a few tears, and a lot of laughs.
Opening night crowds are amazing. The clapping and cheering and laughing and booing... all so much fun. You know the people going to the 2am showing are motivated and devoted! So much fun!
I went again Friday night (approximately 14 hours after my 1st viewing) and it was awesome again.
I want to go see it again. It's been over a week and I am having withdrawals. And I have SO MANY questions!!!
It's more like 516 now...but who's counting?
I hope you all have had a chance to see it. TFA really is a fantastic addition to the Star Wars saga. May the Force Be With You, always!
