hey! i have been MIA for a little while so i thought i would try to play catch up - so... i played those shows in VA both of which were alright but mainly upsetting in many ways regarding getting stiffed by booking agents when we were out of town and hungry but i survived. i have grown increasingly displeased by the social politics in the raleigh "scene" as one might say, so i went back to my nerd roots and in the course of rereading the sword of truth fantasy novel series by terry goodkind (to those who are familiar, i just finished stone of tears so i am not all that deep yet) and i am much happier for it. on a very fun note, i have two big tattooed outlines to start my sleeve on my right arm, the palm side features typhus, the herald of nurgle and the other side is a plague bearer. those also very nerdy references are part of the greater theme of the sleeve, which is dedicated to my patron chaos god in warhammer 40K, a table top strategy game that i have played and love since i was a much younger man. so that is what has been happening lately, hope everyone is doing well
