yeah, we did meet awhile back at tattooed moms. It was an SGPhilly thing.
It's a 2003 Cannondale R2000.
(see link for a pic)

I'm mostly healed now (slight neck muscle pain and scrapes look like sunburn)
my bike is still in the shop. turns out they couldn't straighten the wheel so they had to buy a new rim. Parts should be in tomorrow and i should be able to ride it home.

speaking of homes, when we were talking at t-moms you mentioned you were looking to buy a house. any progress on that front?
geekgurl:
No, I'm not working from home. I was getting ready for work while updating my journal and my computer is in the bedroom. smile

I just got back from Battle Creek Michigan (the cereal capital of the world). I flew out of the Kalamazoo International Airport.

While I was there (for work) I got a lovely tour of a health resort name "The Sanatorium which was started by Dr. J. H. Kellogg (the inventor of cereal and granola) in the 1900.

Kellogg started this place dubbed "The San" as...

Yeah, I went to PU's website, read some description of jobs and what graduates have done and I realized thats what I want to do.

I'm so excited. I asked to be sent all the catalogs and stuff and I want to do a tour of the campus in August. Do you know anything about their portfolio requirements?

If you don't mind my asking (I saw your comment in the weight loss group), how were you able to lose 50lbs and how long did it take? I need to lose about 30-40, but I'm having trouble with discipline and motivation.

Beautiful Conshy...my dad grew up there.

Is there still the glut of Mexican grocery stores there?

Oh, and not that I'm a stalker or anything, but was the photo of you in the car taken in Willow Grove?

ARRR!!!

Uggggh. I feel like a freaking unhealthy mess. I stopped caring about what I put into my body and have only been thinking about what tastes good, or what I have a craving for. NOT GOOD! I have put on a few pounds and I am having a hard time shedding them.

I was doing so good this past year, I lost 50 pounds, and...

i haven't decided about the laptop yet...my credit card debt is mounting, but i feel like i can justify it because of the whole school thing. but i will have decided within the next two hours....
when you guys get some stuff made send me pics! or better yet, links if you have a website.

Thank you, I am starting to feel a little better. I still get sad when i go upstairs and I don't hear her squeak, or when I'm making salad and I have to fight the urge to put some on the side to take up to her. But everything heals with time.

Oh, and I know what it's like to have an uncontrollable appetite. I'll eat really healthy for a week or 2, and then suddenly it's like I have to make up for all the lost junk food time and BINGE. I've actually been fighting and eating disorder since I was about 13....it's not gone but it's manageable. I've been eating crap lately...nothing has changed on the scale but I can definitely feel it in my clothes.

I JUST found out that my best friend is moving back to Philadelphia and is working at my job.

(She was in CT for a job cause Philly job market blew when she was looking straight outta school.

This is so freaking sweet.

We can actually start our freaking clothing label now.

smile

I am so happy!

Nothing seems to knock me out nowawdays. I just try to get myself as tired as possible.

Last night was brutal. I fell asleep watching Bullshit! and then woke up around 4 to feed my crying cat. Guess who has been up since then?!

ARRR!!!
nyssa:
I take benadryl too, when I can't sleep, or I get up and read a book on the couch and fall asleep there.

I just noticed that you like wine tasting. Does your husband like it too? There are a few wineries that I haven't been to in the area that I keep wanting to go to, but my man isn't that into it.

Hope to see you at an SGPhilly event sometime. You are in SGPhilly, aren't you?

i would totally recommend the campground..its called Beaverkill....and its closest to Roscoe NY. The drive is about 4 hours but its actually really nice and goes by fast cause its scenic. I wouldnt go there to fish or hike really...but its pretty and the sites are well shaded and right along a very nice river. i'll post some pics later on. i enjoy hiking and fishing so i was a little dissapointed in that way..but the river is lovely.

Okay, time for an official journal

Life has been busy, but its really not that important. What is more important is actually taking the time to do things that are significant and meaningful. I always seem to forget that when I get wrapped up in the trivial, minor routine of life.

I attended a funeral, Tuesday morning, for a woman who was VERY close to...

You wrote in the Matrimony journal that you got married in a Japenese Garden. Where did you find such a place? I have only found one questionable one where I live (in Mass). Thanx for the advice!
