It has been a while since I've updated my blog mainly due to the fact that this month seems to be bringin' it on in the bad karma department.
First off, I would like to thank all of you for the well wishes for my dog Eeevaa.
(Please pardon my awesomely crappy sign)
It is very nice to know that I have so many awesome friends and people that care about what happens with her. I started her on her antibiotics last week and she seems to be feeling better already with some good r & r. This first round of antibiotics will be administered for a month to help kill off the adult worms. This is the mild form of the treatment process. December 10th I will bring her in for an overnight vet visit where they will inject antibiotics into her spine for two days. This will require her to rest and will be her so called, "silent period." I cannot exercise or exert her at all during this time. The second month will include the same treatment and I will continue to keep you posted about her progress.
This month not only seems a tad crap-tastic for me, but for many other friends of mine. This has been a bad month for pets. My heart goes out to all of you who lost a pet recently or a loved one. Please send some love over [MEMBER=Guffous's] way because he recently lost his best friend. I also had a girlfriend of mine lose her dog this past week in the worst way.
On top of all other expenses, my car decided to suck my wallet dry (on top of all things considered.) The reparations cost me $1,200.00!!! FUCK ME!!! I better win the lottery.
Ok, now for some positivity. Here are things I am looking forward to:
1) Sharing an early Thanksgiving Day potluck this Friday with some good friends and getting jolly in the process...
2) Not working during the holidays
3) Wearing maternity pants on Thanksgiving because I am going to eat soo much food...
4) Being finished with the Fall school semester
5) Getting my new set up on SG
6) Teaching yoga at one of Austin's most recognized studios...Finally!!!
7) I really want to see this movie sooo bad:
The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus
How has everyone been?
What is everyone's plans for the holidays?
