I hope everyone is having a good weekend. I got paid today, 4 days earlier than expected so I've been on an Etsy craze!
I have a date Monday with the new girl. She's gonna show me her digs in st. louis. I was so hoping that the tunic I ordered 2 weeks ago off etsy would be here by now, but nope
last weekend she & I officially *met*. We met online and have been texting & chatting it up for um. how long since my initial post of meeting her? We click in an amazing way. I did however, realize I'm not completely over my ex yet (gah working on letting the baggage go) and she totally understands. I'm working on that, and we're just moving on slowly. which is absolutely amazing, because i've NEVER had a guy willing to work with me on that level. it's always "sex first, everything else later". i am absolutely exhilerated to meet someone who isn't aggressively trying to push my boundaries.
everything else on the homefront, same old same. I went to fedex/kinkos last week and got to see my artwork literally on the assembly line. 19 posters, laminated & mounted of foam board= $945. After the posters are done, we are auctioning them starting at $70 each, with all proceeds being donated to the Genesis house, our local battered women/children shelter.
I also started volunteering there teaching cooking classes.
I start painting my mural this week. Was supposed to start today but I couldn't find my brushes, so I spent $$ at Lowe's today on paint & more brushes.
This next Friday two kitties are going in for spays/neuters. Did I tell you guys the kitten died? Last Sunday. Little man was around for only about 2 days.
Oooh, and last but not least, I have my 6 month cancer checkup on the 7th. This is where we'll see how it's improved since my last biopsy, and to discuss possible treatments. I really REALLY hope there's no more biopsies. Those hurt like a mother.
