Shakespeare's Romeo is probably as emo as one can get. I think he's the most well known emo guy. The Greeks surely invented emo before him also.

I thought this exact same thing as I watched that attack of the clones. He started screaming about something and throwing a fit and sticking out his lower lip...pretty dramatic. Poor Annie. Maybe he's emo because people call him Annie. His maleness is being threatened, perhaps.
