So I got up early and went to Kenpo. Funny, in my public life I feel very protective of that fact, and it is sort of my own little secret. I haven't practiced in nearly 15 years, and it feels so "duh, you love this shit" to be back. That, and it's putting me in the sort of shape I need to be in to do what I do in this town.
So things are alright in this town. I am taking a terrible scene study class right now, that I can't wait to be over with so I can move onto a different class. Just trying to get what I can out of it. See, that is the risk of these things where you shell out money ahead of time. Fuck.
Music is consuming me again. Whether spending all my money on it, or, as I am so trying to do, play. Play play play. It hurts and I feel shitty if I haven't that day. So strange to add such an important thing this late, when most people have a kid. I have a guitar. Now it's a matter of giving it the attention it deserves in my already busy life.
I want to be the Buddah. Clutter is killing me.
I think I'll be cleaning house a bit in the next few weeks, get some of these projects out of my head and into the world.
It's time to make room for the new. The old doesn't fit as well these days.
