I only met my dad once, on his deathbed. I wonder what he was thinking. I wonder if he wanted to watch me grow, if he would have let himself grow just to have me in his life.

I wish I saw people the way I want them to be. Kind, patient, nice. But I guess that is the real fantasy, people being good.
