All right, admittedly, I am a bit tipsy, but goooood stuff coming from this.
Tonight was a RELEASE! Release from over-thinking and living in my head and worrying and planning and working. It was just good ol' times with good person + friends + new friends. And ol' school jams making us all friendly. And dancing! It was a lot of smiles and laughter, and it was good.
Walking home, I was singing to myself. Apparently I do that when I'm drunkish? Anyway, I was/is just so happy to be. It's a good feeling. I'm still aware and conscious of stuff and responsibilities, but at this moment, and in general, things are GOOD. Sometimes, a bit too often for my likes, I forget that. I was walking home from the train station furthest away from my house, in the sprinkle-weird rain, and I was just feeling good. No complaints. If I get wet, I'll get dry. If it's far, it's not really in the scheme of things and it's just good to walk. I like to sing. Sing like nobody is listening. Even though clearly a doorman and some people did hear me as I walked by. Yay for me!
I stopped and got ice cream. Yes, I don't have money for that and I didn't budget, but you know what, I had cash in my pocket, a song in my heart, and happiness to express. Via ice cream devouring. When the light turned red for me to cross the street to my home, I took it as a sign to turn, get some ice cream, and celebrate life.
I had some fun conversations and laughs while buying said ice cream, all non-creepy, so that's even better. And guess what? I got my favorite flavor, waiting for me right on top!
It's all good. I love life. If just this moment, well, that's all I got right now! I think the universe is looking out for me in full force. I hope it looks out for all of you, too.
This weekend, the theme is enjoy in all of it and be grateful for what I have. If you want, take that on, too. If just for this weekend, that will be my mantra and constant reminder to self.
Thanks, universe.
