OK, so Im going to drop more music on you here. This mix is one of my favorites. It is true garage not garage rock, or UK garage, but the style of music that is named after the Paradise Garage, a New York nightclub that was *the* place to be in the 1980s. The best definition of this type of music that I can find is to be found here.
This DJ mix represents what I think is modern garage, not only for the soulful feel but for the amazing range of tracks it contains. Start with tribal, move to deep, drop a dark drum and bass tune in and then go to house and thats just the first four records. I could go on and on, but why bother? Just listen, or keep it by a right click and save (er thats for PC users. I have no idea what you mac people should do).
So, girls and boys, heres the Captain of Claps, the Emperor of Echoes, the Duke of Dub, Mister Francois K.
So, Seattle people, who wants to see Hedwig and the Angry Inch at Rebar next week with me and my lady?
