Went with a friend to see the Seattle premier of New York Doll, being the documentary about Arthur "Killer" Kane and his journey from rockstar to mormon. It was quite good, but I am biased as the whole Dolls scene strikes closely to my New York City roots and circle of friends.
Seeing the movie made me so homesick that I had dreams about the Dolls and a genuine reunion show where Johnny Thunders and Jerry Nolan returned from the dead to play with the living. There were tearful reunions with my rock scene friends, but the highlight of the dream was a very distinct conversation I had with Johnny Thunders where we exchanged tips on hairspray.
Its funny what your brain chooses to remember.
