Yesterday (late into this morning)--a few hours sleep--and this morning again I have been helping my girlfriend move. I am officially exhausted.

The storm arrives! It blew in at about 2 o'clock in the morning. So far it doesn't seem quite as bad as advertised. Still pretty good though.

At the preschool two of the boys were playing in the sandbox. There was a lot of talk of tidal waves in their game. Like after 9/11: firefighters. Lots of play involving firefighters. They need to work through this shit you know. They do it by playing.

And to anwser my own question: yes. Its a little messy, but I don't think its gross. That's what showers are for.

Sent out a dove yesterday, came back with a redwood branch. biggrin Just kidding. It looks like were going to get a break from these storms for a few days. Which is good. Things can dry out a little bit. Mudslides and road washouts are not good. And I'm sure the horses are tired of being wet too. Especially the colt and the fily.
