I went t a potluck on Thursday. The first honest-to-goodness party I've gone to in a long time. It was fun. Good food, good conversation, good music. And afterwards four of us walked down to the ocean. Clear night, stars, moon on the water. Beautiful.

We're having are paraspringtime here. Typically it warms up a bit in January and then starts raining again. Wore shorts and a tee shirt today. It was nice.

I'm on a Women's Studies kick. Now reading The Bitch in the House: 26 Women Tell the Truth about Sex, Solitude, Work, Motherhood, and Marriage.

I just finished Bare: The Naked Truth About Stripping by Elizebeth Eaves. Seal Press 2004. If you like reading Women's Studies, and I do, you'll like this book. If you're looking for something a little more titilating, I'd read another book. I though it was really interesting.

Today I feel like I'm single-handedly supporting the Kleenex Co.

I stayed up until 2 am talking with three bisexual women. Nothing else. Good thing for me. I probably would have felt left out. My guess is that they would have been far more interested in each other.
