So I read a lot of blogs by older SG's some new, or even just their profiles. They hate SG's newbies, they hate the way SG's is now, and some go to the extent to say its change from the hot girl in the art class to your next trashy playboy.
Im new to SG's and so I dont know how it used to be and all that jazz. One thing Ive noticed is that it seems to be kind of a "clicky" kind of thing, and with words unspoken, its a competition for a lot of the SG's and hopefulls. Which works as an incubator for what Ive felt that SG's was supposed to stand for.
Anyway I think I somewhat caught I glimpse of what these woman were trying to say. A hopeful recently poster a set, you can see her profile here http://suicidegirls.com/members/Kiefer/profile ... So ok, shes a pretty girl. One, in her set she obviously worked really hard at playing the cliche rebel bad girl. Oh I have a cigarette, oh I have handcuffs, oh I have manufactured cut-off jean shorts with the tatters created by levi's themselves, and oh I have tattoo's. It just seems like she is trying really hard to hit all the que's to get the in on an "alternative" site. I wouldnt really think to much of this so much as I see it in a lot of hopeful's sets... Except her tattoo's. Not sure but one goes along the lines of "to fit into your mold is to sell myself short" and one says "I am who I am". This girl obviously went through some issues dealing with not trying to be what everyone wants, and she dealt with these problems repeatedly enough that she had to get it tattooed to herself to forever remind her to not repeat these mistakes. These are great phrases to live by. To live by is key. You see, I have a problem with people who blatantly declare how they live.. Cause 3 to 1 those people really dont live that way, but really wish they did because all of their problems boil down to them NOT living that way. The same reason I hate the jesus fish on christian's cars, it is completely not what jesus intended, if jesus heard that in 2k years every one of his followers would be driving gas hog minivan's with plastic none recyclable fish glued to the back of that van while they drive their child from their safe suburban neighbor hood where they get to really love their neighbor by leaving them the fuck alone, to the soccer field... Jesus would probably be just like fuck this i'd rather just have a beer. The same reason I hate gay pride parades, I understand the need to raise awarness.. But it seems like the majority of gay people who go to pride parades really are just gay because they are so Fucking pissed at their parents for one reason or another, and being gay is the best way to cope with that because of their parent's bible morals. You dont go dress like a fucking freak to get people to raise awareness to the masses that you are a normal human being. What I am getting at, is live your life the way you are, if you dont like it you dont have to go around pretending and shoving it in peoples faces and creating temporary lame ways to cope with it. A lot of people seem to base a lot of their philosophy based on what other people are doing, and instead of enlightening themselves to who they really are, they are just jumping back and forth from one scene to the other prescribing for themselves some cultural medication to deal with the shit that they have gone through and hated. But dont get me wrong I dont think this girl is a shitty person by any means.
To further explain my point. I really dont think she really wants to be a SG. Yeah Im sure there are totally some great perks to some of it. But I dont really think she is being "real" with herself, which is kinda a lame statement. One its a nude-less set, which is so rad, Im stoked she did it nude-less, and have been suprised to not find a single nudeless set on SG's, cause to me SG's isnt really meant to be a porn site, its pin-ups. But for whatever her reason I doubt i had anything to do with changing peopels minds about what pin-ups are supposed to be. I just think she wants to get the benefits of being SG cause she believes it might make her feel better, but if she really just confronted her identity issues head on she wouldnt be doing this.
I would further like to provide proof of this by referring you to here blog. its a horror story of teenage cryptic poetry slewed with big "deep" descriptive words. Dont get me wrong, I love poetry and a lot of poetry is a lot of cryptic deep stuff about the writer... But when I go meet that writer I would be thoroughly pissed if that person communicated to me face to face that way. I know a lot of writers, and none of them speak in that manor, write blogs in that manor, describe themselves in that manor. They use it as an art form, they study it and master it. They dont just use randomly placed descriptive words to further enhance their persona. Im not going to write a blog by posting a picture I drew and hope you understand exactly wtf is going on in my head that I needed to get out.
Well anyway. I dont think this girl is a bad person, I just dont think she is in the right place. And that isnt what SG's should be. But what am I thinking... Silly me. I forgot, the world is over-run by rampant lonely horny men who account for 85% of internet users. Who, when it really comes down to it, are the ones who provide the real money sites like SG's use to keep running.
So, Im a little jaded about humanity right now, which would explain my blog. Im hanging on to the last thread of hope that mediocrity will sometime find a way to subside itself in this see of people.
