This was my first session that was shot with the intention of posting to SG, and so far the reception seems to be positive!
You may be wondering why I mostly post B&W photos in my blog posts. Well, first and foremost, I truly love shooting and producing B&W images. They remind me of working with one of my other favorite artistic mediums, charcoal.
Secondly, I just feel like B&W enhances the emotion and feel of the images in a much simpler way than color images can. Also it can be a great way to emphasize the balance between light and shadows.
Finally, a major reason why I mostly post in B&W is because I overshoot like crazy. So, every image that doesn't make it into the final set gets the B&W treatment. I still love sharing them, because sharing is caring. It also can create some extra hype to get people interested in the set! I hope it's working!
