Just finished the second half of “End Of Watch” and it made me cry, just like the first time I watched it.
And now I’m going to say – no matter how unpopular it may be to do so – that I am a friend to police officers. That is, I believe 99% of them do their jobs out of sincere concern, care, and a sense of justice.
I also believe that the few missteps made recently get totally blown out of proportion by the media.
Where’s the “hands up; don’t shoot” activists now? Gone, of course, because it was a media event: a way to get attention via exaggeration. Now that the reporters are gone, the activists are gone too.
Everyone -- *almost* everyone, that is – loves the spotlight.
