Holy shit on a shingle, I guess this answers the question I was brooding over last night. That is, how do contemporary hardcore metal bands even try to play the kind of mind-splattering riffs they pull off? Now, I'm a drummer, but far from great one. This kid though, this one-time drummer for Job For A Cowboy... I don't know what to call him. He's so past great that it doesn't even matter anymore. There are literally not words to describe how motherfucking insanely accurate and f_u_c_k_i_n_g f_a_s_t this guy plays. Simply put, it requires something otherworldly; something I just don't think I'd ever be capable of.
Something I do know, however, is that this shit is fantastic for when you're not feeling incredibly... social. It's overwhelmingly, horrifically beautiful.

CVRRENT SOVND: "Carey" by Joni Mitchell from "Blue". (How's that for a change of pace? Dig!)
