Good weekend, after all's said & done. Had a great time Friday night with a guy who used to be a housemate of mine (back when I lived in La Mesa), seeing "Mission: Impossible - Ghost Protocol" in the theater. (However, the evening would have been better without having to come back home and do hours of work, of course.)
Saturday was a psych appointment that, though not being terribly productive, did get me ramped up on one of my current meds. Right after that, brunch at Cafe On Park (http://www.cafeonpark.com/) -- my very favorite place to eat breakfast in all of San Diego! I'm on a first-name basis with everyone there except the cooks, and that's only because I don't usually talk to them with any real frequency. (I should, though, since they're the ones primarily responsible for all of the delectableness.)
And later that night, I was especially grateful for an evening with a couple out in Rancho San Diego, both of whom are pretty much my favorite humans on Earth. We were also joined by one of the guy's sons -- the younger one -- and he's pretty damned cute. (Not that I'll ever be having kids, but I'd be lying if I said he wasn't a charming youngster.)
Sunday, however, was a bit of a different story, as I disappointed one of my other dear friends by being far too late for breakfast to make it happen. And a bit later on, when I stopped by a BBQ my brother was having, I ended up leaving only after about half an hour due to not feeling so well. (I *did* go back later and apologize, however. And was also treated to some amazingly delicious food.)

My car was stolen on Oct. 27th. It got stolen from the parking lot of my apartments! My fault for having an older Civic and no alarm. Hopefully I will be able to get another ride with my tax money. I plan on getting another beater.
As far as the depression goes, I've dealt with it in some form or another my entire life. It comes and goes and I try not to make a huge deal out of it when it comes around. It always passes.
I think I'm going to have to try Cafe on Park! Looks delicious!
Hopefully we all can get together soon.
