XIX. EXPLODING HUMAN HEART ATTACK
[ Now playing on the Severe Trauma Sounds... Soul Manager (Live) by Front 242 from Re-Boot: Live '98 ]
Very relaxing, relatively uneventful day, though I did a ton of work with my finances.
No money trouble, really, in fact things are going pretty smoothly. Bay Area trip this weekend, SG outing / car repairs / zoo the next, then Christmas / New Year's, then off to visit family in Albuquerque in early January. And of course a ton of work making up the in-between time.
Right now I'm feeling tired, albeit hopeful, considering whether to finish watching Phantasm IV: Oblivion tonight, wondering if I'm inspired enough.
I went through so many crazy ads and credit card apps and the like today that it just makes me very thankful to know that I'll never have to buy into the uber-capitalism of America too much. Since I won't be having kids, this stems the amount of money I'll be having to spend in this lifetime to a near-infinite degree.
It makes me kind of feel sorry for those poor suckers out there, spending their last dollar on food for the family, diapers, school supplies, toys, etc.
I've developed a kind of empathy for the breeders.
Well, not really.

weston:
Glad to hear that things in the finance department are going smoothly. Sounds like you're going to be pretty busy
