VIII. MY HAUNTED PAST
[ Now playing on the Severe Trauma Sounds... Arsenal (C-Section) by Lifedownstairs from Napalm Nerve Agent VX ]
Well here's to having dates with three different chicas this Tuesday, Thursday and then Saturday. Good job, guy - right?
Yeah and I seem to be venturing into the territory of the cougar quite a bit. There's one girl who's really quite up there in age, but she shows remarkably little of it in the face.
And I had two phone calls to make tonight. For both of them, I had to leave messages, but one called me back a few minutes later. This girl teaches at UCSD in the field of communications. She's working on her dissertation, just like my very good friend Marg.
But unfortunately, also like Marg, she's also hard up for having children, which is definitely not the path I want to take. She did say, though, that if things worked out, she'd choose her relationship over having kids, but I'm really not sure how much faith I place in that statement.
I just don't get the whole having kids thing. To me, it's a monumental expenditure of time and money that, as far as the way I see it, could never pay off enough to compensate for all that work.
What can I say? I'm just not a breeder. I am, however, a damned good fucker.
